1 VERIFIED APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION PRO HAC VICE
2 I, GREGORY W. STEVENS, hereby respectfully apply for admission to practice before
3 this Court pro hac vice as co-counsel for Plaintiff Nathan Peter Runyan. In support of this
4 application, I hereby state under criminal penalty of perjury as follows:
5 1. My office address is 2825 East Cottonwood Parkway, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT
6 84121-7060. I am a resident of the State of Utah. I am not a resident of the State of
7 California and am not regularly engaged in the practice of law in California.
2. I graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1986. I have been actively
8
engaged in the practice of law since my graduation and my first admission to practice
9
law.

3. I was previously admitted as a member of the Bar in the State of Pennsylvania (1986
11
through 1987); the District of Columbia (1987 through 1997); and the State of Virginia
12
(1994 through 1995). I was never subjected to disciplinary action or suspended or
13
disbarred in any of those States or in the District. I was an active member of the State
14
Bars of the State of Virginia and the District of Columbia until my relocation to the State
15
of Utah.

4. I was admitted to the Bar of the State of Utah in 1995 and have been a member of the
17
State Bar since then. A true and correct copy of a Certificate of Good Standing from the
18
Utah State Bar is being filed with this Application as Exhibit 1 to this Application. I have
19
never been subjected to disciplinary action or suspended or disbarred by the Utah State
20
Bar.
21 5. I am also admitted to the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Utah
22 (since 1995); and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit (since 1997). I
23 have not been subjected to disciplinary action or suspended or disbarred by those Courts.
24 6. I have not been admitted pro hac vice in a State Court in California. I was previously
25 admitted pro hac vice by the United States District Court for the Southern District of
26 California, in February 2017, in the matter of Adrian L. Sampson v. Vita-Mix Corp., Case
27 No. 3:17-cv-0233-GPC-BGS (Curiel, J.), from the start of that civil action until its
28 conclusion.
