Plaintiff Vashone Rhodes files this Unopposed Motion for Continuance of the
Monday, January 31, 2022 Trial Date and show the following.
I.
This suit was filed on August 02, 2019 for injuries sustained by Plaintiff in a motor
vehicle collision that occurred on November 27, 2018. This case is set forjury trial on
January 31, 2022. This is the second trial setting.
ll.
Plaintiff requests a continuance because mediation was not able to be completed
and more time is needed for an opportunity to reconvene the same. Additionally,
Plaintiff is in the process of scheduling a shoulder surgery related to collision which
forms the basis of this case and will require additional time to recover and complete his
medical treatment. Plaintiff requests a continuance of the trial date until August 01,
2022.
Ill.
This request for continuance is not for delay only, but that justice may be done.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff requests that the Court continue this case until August O1,
2022.
