On this day came to be heard the Defendant Galveston Independent School
District’s Plea to the Jurisdiction requesting that the Court dismiss Plaintiff’s claims
for lack of jurisdiction. Having considered the District’s Plea, the Court finds that the
relief requested therein should be GRANTED.
Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED, ADJUDGED, AND DECREED that the
District’s Plea to the Jurisdiction is hereby GRANTED and that Plaintiff Maureen E.
Hayman’s claims against the District are DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE.
