NATURE OF PROCEEDINGS: Case Management Conference

Case is called.

Case Management Conference is held. The Court and counsel confer regarding case status-
including efforts to settle. The Court has read and considered parties' Case Management
Conference statements. The Court finds the case is at issue and makes following orders:

Non-Jury Trial Phase 1 of Bifurcated Trial is scheduled for 02/14/2024 at 11:00 AM in
Department 53 at Stanley Mosk Courthouse.

Final Status Conference is scheduled for 02/01/2024 at 08:30 AM in Department 53 at Stanley
Mosk Courthouse.

All parties waive their right to a jury trial on all claims and issues.

Law and Motion and Discovery cut off deadlines shall be governed by the new trial date.

Parties are advised to schedule any Motion for Summary Judgment or Summary Adjudication as
soon as possible.

Pursuant to stipulation, the Court orders the parties and their counsel shall hold a mediation with
a private mediator no later than 9-29-2023. Pursuant to stipulation, the Court orders the fees and
costs of mediation shall be paid 50/50.

The court requires the parties’ counsel and any self-represented parties to comply with
Department 53’s “Trial Preparation Order” which was signed and filed on 7-23-2021 and is
available on the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Website under “Divisions,” “Civil,” “Courtroom
Information”.
