Tony, based on the information we learned last night in Michele and Steve's e-mails, we do not
believe you have engaged with us in good faith. We more than held up our end of the bargain this
week-but it is clear you are mistaking kindness for weakness.
As a result, this morning, we instructed our entire firm to stand down on anything related to this
file. We will no longer continue to work on this case. It is clear you have no interest in amicably
resolving this matter. Absent a proposal and our acceptance of a resolution today, we will be filing
our withdrawal from this case.
