MALLORY submits this supplemental declaration in support of her Petition for attorney fees in the aforementioned matter. 1, Kim F. Mallory declare that it was in the best interest of Mrs. Hart to have Mrs. Williams to originally file a petition to be appointed as Mrs. Hart’s conservator because: 1. Mrs. Hart requested that Mrs. Rosalind Reed Williams be appointed as her conservator; 2. Mrs. Hart was terrified at losing all of her rights and her ability to handle her business; HART PETITION 1 Case NO: 288756, RELATED CASE 288755 SUPPLEMENTAL DECLARATION OF24 25 3. Mrs, Hart was having her rights removed from her, and was told that a man that she thought she could trust was committing fraud and other atrocities, 4. Mrs. Hart needed someone whom she knew she could trust, thereby also maintaining a certain amount of control because it was someone she requested. 5. Mrs. Hart had strangers all around her telling her what she needed to do and how to do it; 6. It was not until her niece agreed to help her did she feel a certain amount of relief and comfort. 7. Mrs. Williams only decided to withdraw her petition after she realized that the toad ahead of her was too great for her. 8. The fact that Mrs. Williams withdrew her petition, which was not opposed, indicates further that she only had Mrs. Hart’s best interest in mind. 9. Mrs. Williams filed the petition to be appointed as conservator so that Mrs. Hart would feel comfortable in discussing her personal affairs and would not feel as if she had lost complete control over her life, which is important to a self-made independent woman. 10. Mrs. Hart resisted the conservatorship, having a trusted family member eased the transition, I certify under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct to the best of my own knowledge and information and belief and| that this document was executed in El Sobrante, California on the date indicated below.
