14-8644 Vallejo Amend Expert List 5/31/2019
Plaintiff Jose Vallejo moves for leave to file an amended Expert list and to Reopen Discovery in the case against Farmers Insurance Group. Having read and considered the written motion and amended opposition, the court issues the following tentative ruling:
Defendants’ initial expert disclosure named liability expert Paul Hamilton, who would provide testimony regarding the reasonableness of the claims handling in this case. Plaintiff’s initial expert disclosure named retained expert on liability. Supplemental disclosure was due on April 1. On April 5, 2019, Plaintiff designated retained expert Raymond Policar to testify on creditors’ rights and the reasonable of attempts to collect on the judgment.
Plaintiff seeks to add Mr. Raymond Policar, a creditor rights expert.
Code of Civil Procedure section 2034.710 provides:
