The Court grants the motion relieving counsel effective upon the filing of the proof of service upon the client. The Court recognizes that once the proof of service is filed, Defendant Crius Corp. cannot represent itself; a corporation must be represented by an attorney. On its own motion, the Court shall set an Order to Show Cause re: why the Court should not strike Crius Corp’s answer filed on 7/20/20 for failure to retain counsel and enter Defendant’s default. The Court shall set that OSC on November 17, 2021, at 8:30am, to be heard telephonically. The Court shall continue the trial setting conference to the same date and time. The Court orders current counsel for Crius and the Court Clerk to give notice.
