Tentative Ruling on Motion for Attorney’s Fees: The present motion is unopposed. Defendant Tetra Tech,
Inc. moves for attorney’s fees pursuant to CCP §§ 1032, 1033.5 and Civil Code § 1717 based on an attorney’s
fee provision in a contract between Plaintiffs and the City of Redding. The total amount of attorney’s fees
requested is $69,361.05. The matter was originally on calendar on April 25, 2022 but was continued to permit
the Defendant to submit a supplemental declaration given the Court’s tentative remarks concerning the
appropriate rates for attorney’s fees in this area. The supplemental declaration has been submitted which reflects
a revised attorney fee request of $53,597.55. The Court finds that the attorney’s fee request is now reasonable
and shall be awarded.
