[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE: DEEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT; MOTION DENIED

I. INTRODUCTION

On June 23, 2016, Plaintiff Shawn Evelyn (“Plaintiff”) filed this action against Defendant Southern California Healthcare System, Inc. dba Southern California Hospital at Hollywood (erroneously sued as Alta Hospitals System, LLC) (“Defendant”) for negligence relating to injuries sustained on July 7, 2014 when she was working as a nurse at one of Defendant’s hospitals. Defendant moves for summary judgment on grounds this action is barred by workers’ compensation exclusivity. II.
