This discrimination and wrongful termination action arises out of Plaintiff Aretha Howell (“Howell”)’s alleged employment with Defendant Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind, Inc. (“TLC”). Plaintiff alleges that she was hired in September 2006 as a Staffing Coordinator. (Compl. ¶ 14.) According to Plaintiff, she suffered a very serious brain aneurysm in or around 2010, which resulted in her being off work for approximately eight months. (Compl. ¶ 15.)
