[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE: DEFENDANT JAE K. CHANG’S MOTIONS TO COMPEL PLAINTIFF’S RESPONSES TO DISCOVERY AND MONETARY SANCTIONS; MOTION GRANTED, IN PART

On January 23, 2018, Plaintiff Goli Gharagazli Basamah (“Plaintiff”) filed this action against Defendants Alexandra Chang and Jae K. Chang (“Defendant”) (collectively, “Defendants”) for motor vehicle and general negligence relating to a February 3, 2016 automobile accident.

On March 13, 2018, Defendant served Form Interrogatories and Demand for Production of Documents on Plaintiff. (Declaration of Laurie R. Harrold, ¶ 2.) Plaintiff did not respond and Defendant granted an extension to provide responses without objection. (Harrold Decl., ¶ 3.) To date, Plaintiff has served no responses. (Harrold Decl., ¶ 5.) Defendant moves to compel Plaintiff’s responses and monetary sanctions.
