Defendants’ Two (2) Motions to Compel Plaintiff’s Responses to Supplemental Interrogatories, Set One and Supplemental Demand for Production, Set One; Request for Sanctions, filed on 1/15/19 are GRANTED.
Plaintiff, Bonnye Benham, is ordered to provide verified responses without objection to the foregoing discovery within ten (10) days. Cal. Code Civil Procedure § 2031.300, 2030.290. Untimely responses result in a waiver of objections. Cal. Code Civil Procedure §2030.290(a), § 2031.300(a).
The Court imposes total sanctions of $675 for both motions against Plaintiff, Bonnye Benham, and her counsel of record, Jerold D. Sullivan, for the failure to provide verified responses to authorized methods of discovery, which constitutes discovery abuse. Cal. Code Civil Procedure §2023.010(a)(4). Such sanctions are payable within thirty (30) days.
