Howard seeks implied comparative indemnity to the extent he is held liable for damages in BC479045 on the basis that Defendant Tiffany Garrard was the employee of Defendant Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, who conducted the public auction sale of Plaintiff Ana Vaca’s property interest.

Defendant Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department demurs to the first amended complaint.

TENTATIVE RULING:

Defendant Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s demurrer to the first amended complaint is OVERRULED as to the first and only cause of action for implied comparative indemnity.
