The Hon. Randolph M. Hammock is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was elected to the bench in 2010 after an unsuccessful bid in 2006.

He is a registered Democrat.

Judge Hammock received his bachelor's degree from San Diego State University in 1980. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1983.

After graduating from law school, Hammock entered into private practice where he served as a civil litigator for most of his legal career. During that time he litigated a wide range of cases that included probate, civil rights, and family law. He served as a volunteer judge pro tem for the Los Angeles Municipal and Superior Courts starting in 1998 to 2007. He then became a full-time referee for the Dependency Court in 2007. He remained in that capacity until winning the election to the Superior Court in 2010.

In 2010 he held the distinction of being admitted to the bar in 15 states.

He has been outspoken on the subject of ballot designations and has written an article on the subject.

Judge Hammock is fluent in American Sign Language and has been a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
