TENTATIVE RULING:
The demurrer of defendant Kilja Lim is off-calendar for failure to adequately meet and confer before filing the demurrer as required by Code Civ. Proc. § 430.41.
However, counsel for the parties are to meet and confer regarding the propriety of maintaining the action in this Department in light of indirect allegations showing that the parties were married (see complaint at ¶¶ 19 and 20) and that the issues relate to title to real property that was acquired during the marriage as well as the ownership of other property.
