Biography

The Hon. Pamela L. Fisher is a Justice of the Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Term in the Second Judicial District of New York. She was elected to the Supreme Court bench in 2016 after serving as an elected judge for the Kings County Civil Court since 2010. During her tenure on the Civil Court, Justice Fisher was appointed to serve as an Acting Justice of the Kings County Supreme Court in 2015 by the Hon. A. Gail Prudenti, former Chief Administrative Judge of the State of New York.

She is a registered Democrat.

Justice Fisher received her B.A. from New York University in 1983. She went on to earn her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1990.

Her legal career outside of the bench includes working as an assistant deputy general manager for the New York City Housing Authority. Just prior to her election to the Civil Court, she was serving as a principal law clerk to the Hon. Mark I. Partnow, a Justice with the Kings County Supreme Court.
