Biography

The Hon. Christine A. Carringer is a judge for the Solano County Superior Court in California. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jerry Brown in 2013. She filled the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Allan P. Carter (Ret.).

She is a registered Republican.

Judge Carringer received her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in 1974. She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1987.

Carringer began her legal career in private practice, working as an associate at Porter and Scott from 1987 to 1989, and at Segal and Kirby from 1989 to 1994. She practiced for ten years at Knox Ricksen LLP and was of counsel at Powers and Miller from 2006 to 2009. Prior to her appointment to the Superior Court, Carringer was practicing at Katchis, Harris, and Yempuku.

While on the bench, Judge Carringer has presided over the Family Law and Adoptions Courts as well as LPS conservatorship cases. She has also served as the Supervising Judge of the Family Law Division.

Her memberships have included the Solano County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the Forest County Bar Association.
