                    !TIS HEREBY

                    ORDERED that respondent Dcchet1, LLP shall release to petitioners Norma Knopf and

              Michael Knopf ("the Knopfs") the amount of $436,227.32 (less Sheriff's poundage) held in

              escrow at Dechert pursuant to the February 25,2016 order of the Hon. Karla Moskowitz,

              Associate Justice of the Appellate Division, in the action entitled Knopfv. Sanford, New York

              Co. Index No. 113227/2009; it is further

                   ·ORDERED that the release of the $436,227.32 amount, less Sheriffs poundage, to the

              Knopfs shall be effectuated on or before June 9, 2018 (i.e., 31 days from the date of decision

              read into the record by the Court on May 9, 20 18) unless, prior to that date, respondent Michael

              Hayden Sanford obtains a stay of this order pending appeal; it is further

                    ORDERED that the unadjudicated balance of this petition is hereby referred to the

              Special Referee Clerk (Room 119M, 646-386-3028 or spref@nycourts.gov) for placement at the

              earliest possible date upon the calendar of the Special Referee's Part (Part SRP), which, in

              accordance with the Rules of that Part, shall assign this matter to an available JHO/Special

              Referee to hear and determine the respective competing claims of respondent Michael Hayden

              Sanford and petitioners Norma and Michael Knopf regarding the remaining $75,000.00 held at

              Dechert, LLP and subject to the April24, 2016 preliminary injunction.entered by the Appellate

              Division (First Department) in the action entitled Knopfv. Sm?ford, New York Co. Index No.

              113227/2009; it is further

                   ORDERED that the parties shall appear for the reference with all witnesses and evidence

              they seek to present, and shall be ready to proceed, on the date first fixed by the Special Referee

              Clerk subject only to any adjournment that may be authofi~ by the Special Referee's Part in

              accordance with the Rules of that Part; and it is further

                   ORDERED that the hearing will be conducted in the same manner as a trial before a

              Justice without a jury (CPLR 4320[a]) (the proceeding will be recorded by a court reporter, the

              rules of evidence apply, etc.) and, except as otherwise directed by the assigned JHO/Special
