1 Plaintiffs Alida Mazariegos, Paula Gonzalez, and Jaime Amaya (“Plaintiffs”) and
2 Defendants Vanguard Cleaning Systems, Inc. (“VCS”); RR Franchising, Inc., d/b/a Vanguard
3 Cleaning Systems of Southern California and d/b/a Vanguard Cleaning Systems of Northern
4 California (“RR Franchising”); Buddha Capital Corporation, d/b/a/ Vanguard Cleaning Systems
5 of Sacramento, d/b/a Vanguard Cleaning Systems of the Central Valley, and d/b/a/ Vanguard
6 Cleaning Systems of the Central Coast (“Buddha Capital”); and Wine Country Ventures, Inc. d/b/a
7 Vanguard Cleaning Systems of the North Bay (“Wine Country”) (“Defendants”) (collectively “the
8 Parties”) stipulate as follows:
9 WHEREAS the Parties previously agreed to, and the Court previously approved, the
10 following dates, deadlines, and sequencing for Plaintiffs’ motion for class certification and set
11 dates as follows: motion for class certification to be filed on or before November 12, 2021,
12 opposition to be filed on or before by February 11, 2022, reply due on or before February 25, 2022,
13 hearing to be held March 22, 2022;
14 WHEREAS the Parties have continued to participate in written discovery and have been
15 taking numerous depositions, which have not been completed;
16 WHEREAS Plaintiffs filed their Motion for Class Certification on November 12, 2021,
17 and Defendants believe they need additional time to complete discovery prior to submitting an
18 Opposition;
19 WHERAS the Parties have decided to mediate this dispute with the Honorable Margaret
20 Nagle on March 21, 2022;
21 WHEREAS the Parties will need significant time to prepare for the mediation and hope to
22 focus their attention over the next several weeks on preparing for the mediation;
23 WHEREAS the mediation could obviate the need for the parties to continue briefing the
24 class certification issue;

26 NOW THEREFORE, the Parties, by and through their respective counsel, hereby stipulate, subject
27 to Court approval, as follows:
