My name is Khorine Williams and | come before the court to ask for two #1
things to be done, The first thing that | am asking is that we determine
the correct amount of rent that is owed to forest creek apartment. When
I resigned a new leasing agreement with the property manager for the
month of December 2019 until December 2020, the verbal offer of
$100.00 of December’s rent or to get the carpet cleaned in the
apartment, | opted to have the $100.00 taken of the rent for December
2019 and looking at the documents submitted by the property manager it
currently does not have that listed which ended up being posted on my
door as of 1/8/2020, It currently shows the incorrect amount. The second
thing that | am asking is that |be granted some time to get the
outstanding balance of rent paid in full, At the time of my upcoming
rental amount for December, |was dealing with the death of my father
who took care of all of my bills at the time. During the last few months |
had several different surgery procedure done and l am currently a Kidney
Dialysis patient and is undergoing treatment three times a week and in
between treatment | have been looking for a job to cover all of my
outstanding bills...l have since found a job but |did not get a full
paycheck to cover rent and other outstanding bills, | have never had this
issue happened to me during the time of me being a resident of forest
creek apartments for the last year where I could not find assistance to
get the rent covered. | am submitted the Attached notice that was left
on my door regarding the outstanding balance, It was in poor taste and |
do not think that this is the way the management team should have went
about giving me notice about this issue, it was posted for all to see.... |
would like to see if you could allow me some time to get this matter
corrected. | am asking for at least 45 days to get this matter resolve and
have all outstanding balance be covered.
