The above-referenced case is called to STANDBY for trial at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
Unless otherwise instructed, allparties shall have EXCHANGED WITH ALL COUNSEL AND E-FILED
WITH THE COURT all pretrial documents by 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2018, and the Court
requests that you comply with the following procedures.
WITNESS LISTS. EXHIBIT LISTS. MOTIONS AND ORDERS IN LIMINE, AND PROPOSED CHARGE.
ALONG WITH ANY ADDITIONAL PRETRIAL MOTIONS/OBJECTIONS, SHALL BE SUBMITIED AS
FOLLOWS:
1. One originals e-filed with the District Clerk;
2. A copy of each shall also be emailed to the Court Coordinator, Rhonda Young, at
rfyoung@tarrantcounty.com, along with a copy of your most recent live pleading;
3. A copy for the witness list and exhibit list only emailed to the Court Reporter. Jaccl
Walker at jewalker2@TarrantCounty.com; and
DEPOSITION EXCERPTS (ORAL AND VIDEO) - All deposition objections must be e-filed with the
District Clerk and delivered to all counsel at the same time as the above-mentioned pretrial
documents. Prior to reading or viewing deposition, excerpts during trial, (excluding impeachment) counsel
shall tender copies of the deposition with the portions to be read highlighted to opposing counsel, the
reporter, and the judge at the time of the pretrial hearing.
ORIGINAL EXHIBITS (no additional copies needed) shall be marked and numbered prior to trial. When
possible, it would be helpful if originalexhibits could be presented, marked, and indexed in a notebook.
This would eliminate the problem of loose exhibits disappearing during trial.Additionally any and all
video/audio recordings to be presented and/or admitted during trialshall be in MP3 or MP4 format and
submitted to the court reporter at the pretrial hearing.
LARGE EXHIBIT(S) EXCEEDING 8-1/2 x 11 shall be accompanied by a letter-sized copy. PHYSICAL
EVIDENCE (tools, etc.) shall be accompanied by an 8-1/2 X 11 or smaller photograph. After the trial the
letter-sized copy and/or photograph shall be retained by the court reporter and the large exhibit(s) and/or
physical evidence returned to the offering party.
PROPOSED JURY CHARGE - Shall be e-filed with the District Clerk and a copy to opposing counsel at
the time of the filing of the pretrial documents. Email an editable version (Word format) of the proposed
jury charge omitting all references and citations to the Court Coordinator, Rhonda Young at
rfyoung@tarrantcounty.com.
EQUIPMENT IN THE COURTROOM - The Court has its own chart stand; however, each party shall furnish
its own markers, paper, and other supplies. Video equipment is available. Arrangements for its use should
be made through the bailiff (817-884-1797) prior to trial. The Court has a projector.
