PLAINTIFF’S MOTION TO EXPEDITE TRIAL DATE
COMES NOW the Plaintiff, BARBARA WILLIAMSON, by and through the
undersigned counsel, hereby moves to advance this case on the trial docket and as grounds
therefore would state as follows:
1. That the Plaintiff, BARBARA WILLIAMSON, the chief party in interest herein, is
80 years of age. Her date of birth is January 20, 1935.
2. That Florida Statute, Section 415.1115 (a copy of which is attached), provides that
the presiding judge may advance this case on the trial docket when a person over the age of 65 is
a party.
3. The incident in question occurred nearly one year and nine months ago on October
20, 2013.
WHEREFORE, the Plaintiff herein hereby request that this case be advanced on the trial
docket so that it may be tried with certainty during the court's next trial docket.

SOCIAL WELFARE ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES
415.1115 Civil actions involving elderly parties; speedy trial.—In a civil action in which a person
over the age of 65 is a party, such party may move the court to advance the trial on the docket. The
presiding judge, after consideration of the age and health of the party, may advance the trial on the
docket. The motion may be filed and served with the initial complaint or at any time thereafter.
