Remote appearance is strongly requested, please see the Court’s website regarding appearance protocols (www.sanmateo.courts.ca.gov/). 2. The filing of a completed Notice of Settlement or Request for Dismissal at least twelve (12) calendar days before the OSC hearing will result in the matter being taken off calendar and the appearance of the parties no longer required. 3. Otherwise, responsive papers to an Order to Show Cause must be filed and served at least twelve (12) calendar days before the OSC hearing. 4. Pursuant to Local Rule 3.805(h), 3.904(d), 3.904(e), and CRC Rule 2.30, the Court is empowered to impose monetary sanctions of a minimum of $150.00 upon any party or their counsel for failure to follow the requirements of this Order, or of the California Rules of Court, or of the Code of Civil Procedure. If you fail to follow the requirements of this Order, you will be subject to an order to show cause as to why monetary sanctions of $150.00, or some other amount, should not be imposed against you. 5.
