22          Plaintiff, the People of the State of California, filed its Complaint herein, on August 15, 2023.
23   Defendant OCTAVIO GONZALEZ was duly served with the Summons and Complaint on September 9,
24   2023. Defendant, OCTAVIO GONZALEZ, failed to answer the Complaint and failed to appear.
25   Thereafter the People filed a Request for Entry of Default, which was entered by the clerk as to defendant
26   OCTAVIO GONZALEZ on October 16, 2023. Subsequently, evidence was presented by Plaintiff and
27   the matter was submitted for decision.
28          Good cause appearing therefore,

 4      1. CIVIL PENALTIES:
 5            As and for Civil Penalties to the County of Kern, pursuant to Business and Professions Code
 6   section 17206, the sum of Two Million, Three Hundred Forty-Two, Five Hundred Dollars
 7   ($2,342,500.00).
