Good morning, Farahana.
The fair and reasonable value for the estimate, as presented, is $58,468.00.
It is difficult to determine a definitive value based on estimate as there are many unknowns. We do not know the cost of
anesthesiology. We do not know if the surgery will be more complex than routinely encountered. The estimate is more
than eight months old and the cost of implants may be higher than estimated. Generally, the ultimate cost is greater
than the estimate, and we do note the hospital actually states that the balance of actual charges will be billed to the
plaintiff's attorney.
