This lawsuit arises out of an automobile accident. This case is currently set for trial on November 13, 2023. This case is still in the discovery phase and no expert discovery has taken place. Further, the parties have not had a chance to mediate the case. II. Counsel for all Parties have conferred on trial dates that will allow for sufficient time to conduct mediation and agree that a trial date of March 18, 2024 would be best. Accordingly, the parties respectfully request this Court to continue the trial on the merits in this matter from its current trial setting of November 13, 2023. A continuance would serve the interests of Parties’ Agreed Motion for Continuance of Trial Setting Page 1 of 3 justice and is not sought for any improper purpose or delay. III. WHEREFORE, PREMISES CONSIDERED, the Parties pray that this trial be continued from its current setting of November 13, 2023 and reset for March 18, 2024 and for such other and further relief, both a law or in equity, to which they may show themselves justly entitled.
