On February 29, 2024, the Court considered (1) Defendant’s Emergency Motion For Stay
of Trial Proceedings Pending Determination of Jurisdiction and (2) Defendant’s Plea to the
Jurisdiction. After considering the pleadings, records, and arguments of the parties, the Court is of
the opinion that the following order should issue:
For the reasons presented in Defendant’s Emergency Motion for Stay, it is hereby
ORDERED that the Motion is in all things GRANTED. For the reasons presented in Defendant’s
Plea to the Jurisdiction, it is hereby ORDERED that the Plea is in all things GRANTED.
Therefore, for want of jurisdiction, it is ORDERED and ADJUDGED that this action is
DISMISSED. Accordingly, IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, also for want of jurisdiction, all
motions by either party not previously ruled on are DENIED and all orders for injunctive relief are
hereby DISSOLVED.
