1 Affiant, Myles A. Hoover, is the attorney of the Plaintiff, and has the personal
knowledge and authority to make this Affidavit.
2 Affiant has made diligent search and inquiry to locate and discover the residence
of Defendant, EDWARD R. HOGAN, if alive and if not his unknown spouse, heirs,

devisees, grantees, creditors, or other parties claiming by, through, under or against
EDWARD R. HOGAN, (“E HOGAN”). These efforts may be summarized as follows:
a, Upon information and Affiant’s belief, E HOGAN, is deceased. E
HOGAN’s date of death was September 28, 1964, and is referenced from a
Certificate of Death that was filed in the Public Records of Palm Beach County,
Florida. The Certificate of Death was recorded on June 8, 1971, in Official Records
Book 1905, Page 439, of the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Affiant searched for the Defendant in the Highlands Clerk of Courts Person
Search. No probate is filed on behalf of Defendant in Highlands County, Florida.
Affiant searched the Highlands County Tax Collector’s records in the area
where Defendant owned real property in Florida.
Affiant searched the Highlands County Property Appraiser’s records for
Defendant.
Diligent search and inquiry has been made, as described above, to determine the
names and whereabouts of all persons on whom service of process would bind Defendant,
EHOGAN, and, as particularly as is known to affiant, these persons and their whereabouts
are as follows:

Affiant believes that there are unknown parties who are or may be interested in the
subject matter of this cause and who may claim by, through, under, or against Defendant,
