2 (“Plaintiffs”) and Defendants Vanguard Cleaning Systems, Inc. (“VCS”); RR Franchising, Inc., d/b/a
3 Vanguard Cleaning Systems of Southern California and d/b/a Vanguard Cleaning Systems of Northern
4 California (“RR Franchising”); Buddha Capital Corporation, d/b/a/ Vanguard Cleaning Systems of
5 Sacramento, d/b/a Vanguard Cleaning Systems of the Central Valley, and d/b/a/ Vanguard Cleaning
6 Systems of the Central Coast (“Buddha Capital”); and Wine Country Ventures, Inc. d/b/a Vanguard
7 Cleaning Systems of the North Bay (“Wine Country”) (“Defendants”) (collectively “the Parties”)
8 stipulate as follows:
9 WHEREAS, Defendants’ Motions to Compel Arbitration of Plaintiffs Adriana Tello and Ryne
10 Bass were previously set for hearing on December 5, 2023;
11 WHEREAS, Plaintiffs’ Second Renewed Motion for Class Certification is set for hearing on
12 January 9, 2024;
13 WHEREAS, on December 4, 2023, the Court issued a Tentative Ruling on Defendants’
14 Motions to Compel Arbitration whereby it requested additional briefing from Plaintiffs regarding
15 Defendants’ delegation clause arguments and other case law identified by Defendants and the Court;
16 WHEREAS, in order to simplify the issues for Class Certification, the Parties agree that
17 Defendants’ Motions to Compel Arbitration should be decided by the Court prior to a hearing on
18 Plaintiffs’ Second Renewed Motion for Class Certification.
19 NOW THEREFORE, the Parties, by and through their respective counsel, hereby stipulate as
20 follows:
21 1. The hearing on Defendants’ Motions to Compel Arbitration of Adriana Tello and Ryne
22 Bass shall be continued to January 16, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
23 2. Plaintiffs may file additional briefing not to exceed ten pages addressing the delegation
24 clause argument and case law identified by the Court. Plaintiffs’ supplemental briefing
25 shall be filed by December 19, 2023.
26 3. Defendants may file a short reply to Plaintiffs supplemental briefing by January 2,
27 2024.

2 continued to March 12, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
3 5. Defendants’ Opposition to Plaintiffs’ Second Renewed Motion for Class Certification
4 shall be filed by January 31, 2024.
5 6. Plaintiffs’ Reply in support of their Second Renewed Motion for Class Certification
6 shall be filed by February 20, 2024.
7 7. The time within which the action must be brought to trial pursuant to California Code
8 of Procedure § 583.310 shall be extended by an additional nine weeks to January 7,
9 2026.
10 8. The Case Management Conference previously set for January 16, 2024 shall be
11 continued until 30 days after an order is issued on Plaintiffs’ Second Renewed Motion
12 for Class Certification, or as may be convenient for the Court.

4 Plaintiffs Ryne Bass and Adriana Tello will be heard on January 16, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. A
5 supplemental briefing schedule will be provided as follows:
