(Gloriak), moves this court for an order transferring a matter currently before the Nassau County District Court to this court. The motion is unopposed. The underlying matter involves Gloriak’s allegation that it is entitled to some form of payment from Respondentt, M.V.B. Collision Inc d/b/a Mid-Island Collision (MVB) after MVB allegedly hired a temporary employee Gloriak placed with MVB. 1 of 2 FILED: NASSAU COUNTY CLERK 03702/2022 04:16 PM INDEX NO. 612818/2021 NYSCEF DOC. NO. 13 RECEIVED NYSCEF: 02/17/2022 Because MVB hired the employee full time, Gloriak alleges it is entitled to a fee, plus counsel fees. The counsel fees put the amount in controversy over the District Court threshold. As the motion is unopposed, it will be granted. Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED, that the clerk of Nassau County District Court, First District is directed to transfer the matter of Gloriak Corp v. M.V.B. Collision Inc d/b/a Mid Island Collision Index NO: CV-017154, to this court upon being served with this order; and it is further ORDERED, that Gloriak is directed to serve a copy of this order forthwith on the clerk of the Nassau County District Court, First District.
