NOTICE OF STATUS CONFERENCE FOR FAMILY CASES Cause # 23‐FD‐0662 Status Conference 07/27/2023 at 2:00 p.m. Court: 306th Judicial District Court County Court at Law No. 1 County Court at Law No. 2 XXX County Court at Law No. 3 If your case is not resolved prior to the scheduled status conference date, refer to the following instructions for the appropriate court: 306th District Court:  All status conferences may be conducted in WRITING.  No personal appearance is required if you have submitted a Status Report  The Court's facsimile number is 409-765-2936.  Status report forms are available on the website of the 306th District Court.  You should be prepared to show proof of service by the status conference date.  Failure to file a status report timely may result in the Court dismissing your case. County Court No. 1:  Parties must submit an Agreed Docket Control Order on or before the date set for the status conference; or attend the Status Conference. (Visit the Court's web site for DCO forms).  Failure to submit an Agreed DCO or attend the status conference may result in the Court dismissing the case. County Court No. 2:  All status conferences may be conducted in WRITING  No personal appearance is required if you have submitted a Status Report  Please eFile the completed report  Status Report forms are available on the website for County Court No. 2  You should be prepared to show proof of service by the status conference date  Failure to file a status report or appear in person will result in a final disposition date where your case may be dismissed County Court No. 3:  Parties must either submit an agreed docket control order signed by both parties prior to date set for status conference or appear at the status conference.  Failure to submit an agreed docket control order or attend the status conference may result in the Court dismissing the case. **In all cases involving any contested issue, the parties must attend mediation/ADR prior to the Court conducting a final hearing. **In all cases involving children, parties must attend the seminar "For Kids' Sake" or similar court approved programs, prior to qualifying for subsidized mediation and prior to the Court conducting a final hearing. Parties shall submit proof of attendance to the Court. Rev. 01/2020
