Cynthia Kouril, Esq, an attorney duly admitted to practice law before the courts of the
State of New York, hereby affirms under penalty of perjury:
1. I am of counsel to The Gold Law Firm, attorneys for the defendants, IRT
PARTNERSHIP and SDHR MANAGEMENT, LLC. I make this affirmation of actual
engagement with regard to the scheduled trial date of October 13*, 2023, in this matter. The
matters herein are true to my own knowledge.
2. On October 13*, 2023, when the above-captioned matter is scheduled for Trial, I
am unable to appear because I am actually engaged as an arbitrator for the case of Yehuda Lasty
vs. Robinhood Financial, LLC, Case ID: 21-01135. This arbitration has been scheduled for six
months.
3. I have been retained as trial counsel because The Gold Law firm consists of only
two (2 ) trial attorneys who will be engaged on other trials in Nassau County and Bronx County.
4. I respectfully request that the above-captioned matter be adjourned from 10/13/23
to 10/23/23. Plaintiff has consented to an adjournment to 10/23/23 to accommodate my
arbitration.
