(“Defendant”) has entered into a settlement with Plaintiffs CHRISTOPHER 10 TORRES and MELISSA TORRES (“Plaintiffs”), in the amount of $10,000.00, subject to a 11 LLP determination 0f good faith settlement, pursuant t0 California Code of Civil Procedure section 2000 12 877.6(a)(2). A copy of the Application, Declaration of Thomas J. Tobin, and proposed Order are Mansukhani, Syite 92101 13 attached hereto and are filed and served herewith by certified mail. CA 14 Scully Broadway, Diego, PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that LIGHTHOUSE FOR THE BLIND (LHB 15 Industries, Inc.) submits the attached Application, served and filed concurrently herewith, Rees W. San 16 101 pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure section 877.6(a)(2) for a judicial determination Gordon 17 that the settlement with Plaintiffs is made in good faith and for an order that LIGHTHOUSE 18 FOR THE BLIND (LHB Industries, Inc.) be discharged from any and all liability for any claims 19 arising out 0f this action including any claims for equitable contribution, comparative 20 contribution, partial indemnity, comparative indemnity, comparative negligence or comparative 21 fault as it relates to this action and that any future claims brought against LIGHTHOUSE FOR 22 THE BLIND (LHB Industries, Inc.) for equitable indemnity, total indemnity 0r implied 23 contractual indemnity as related to the above—captioned action be barred and t0 the extent 24 pending, dismissed. 25 Within 25 days 0f the mailing of the Notice, Application, and Proposed Order, a non- 26 settling party must file a notice 0f motion to contest the good faith 0f this settlement should the 27 good faith of the settlement be contested.
