THE STATE OF MINNESOTA TO THE ABOVE-NAMED DEFENDANT:
MOTION
The State of Minnesota, County of Stearns, by and through the Stearns County Attorney,
hereby moves the Court for an order for default pursuant to Rule 55 of the Minnesota Rules of Civil
Procedure. More than 21 days have elapsed since the summons and complaint were served on the
claimant and no answer has been filed with court or served on Plaintiff or the Sartell Police
Department. Further, Jamie Lynn Becher is convicted of the underlying offense on which the forfeiture
is based. Therefore, based upon the entire file, records, and proceedings herein, Plaintiff requests the
Court enter a judgment against defendant and order forfeiture of defendant to the Sartell Police
Department.
