21 Reasons Whv a Further Response to Special Interrogatorv No. 26 Should be Compelled:
22 In determining discovery issues with regard t0 relevance and matters “personal in nature”, likely
23 referring to privacy, the Court will “carefully balance” the competing interests: the right t0 privacy
24 juxtaposed to the interest in obtaining just results 0f litigation. (Lewis v. Sup. Ct. (2017) 3 Cal.5‘h 561,
25 573; John B. v. Sup. Ct. (2006) 38 Cal.4‘h 1177, 1200-1201; Pioneer Electronics (USA), Inc. v. Sup. Ct.
26 (2007) 40 Cal.4th 360, 373—374.) Here, plaintiffs have made claims ofanxiety, depression, extreme grief,
