Currently pending before Your Honor is Plaintiff’s Motion to Strike Defendant’s Answer for
failure to provide discovery, which is currently returnable Friday, October 20, 2023. Defendant has served
on Plaintiff uncertified discovery responses and expects to receive the executed certifications early next
week. See attached correspondence to Plaintiff’s counsel, dated October 17, 2023. At this time, Defendant
respectfully requests that the pending motion be carried one (1) cycle to the next return date of November
3, 2023 to allow us to obtain and serve the discovery certifications.
The undersigned has called Plaintiff’s counsel to obtain her consent to this adjournment request,
but has not yet heard back from her.
