NOTICE OF MEDIATION CONFERENCE
(VIA ZOOM)
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Mediation Conference has been scheduled before the
undersigned Mediator for Wednesday, January 25, 2023, starting at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. An
email invitation including a password to participate will be provided to the parties 2-3 days
before the conference. The rules governing the Mediation Conference shall be as follows:
1 The participants shall be prepared to spend as much time as is
necessary to settle the case or until an impasse is declared by the
Mediator.
The parties shall present a brief written summary of the facts and issues to the
Mediator prior to the Conference.
All discussions, representations and statements made at the Mediation Conference
shall be privileged as settlement negotiations, and nothing related to the
Conference shall be admitted at trial or subject to discovery.
The mediator shall be compensated at a rate of $325.00 per hour for preparation
and conducting the mediation conference. The mediator’s travel rate, if
applicable, shall be $150.00 per hour. There is a two (2) hour minimum charged
for all mediations plus a charge equal to one-half hour shall be assessed as an
administrative fee for scheduling and preparation of notices and the mediation
report.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all charges will be divided equally between
the parties and are due upon receipt of the billing statement. Parties with common
interests and represented by the same counsel (e.g., husband/wife,
employer/employee, insured/insurer) shall be billed as one party. It is agreed that
