Due to the current State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 206th District Court issues the
following orders:
1. Victims, family members, the public, the press, or anyone who desires to attend a court hearing
will be permitted to do so electronically by contacting the 206th District Court Staff at (956)318-2265
and obtaining instructions on the morning of any such hearing.
2. Anyone with audio and/or visual access to judicial proceedings are strictly prohibited from
recording any judicial proceedings and are hereby ordered a) not to record any such judicial
proceedings, and b) ordered not to allow anyone else to record any such judicial proceedings.
3. Victims, family members, the public, the press, or anyone who violates the prohibitions
governing audio and/or visual access to judicial proceedings are subject to sanctions, including
contempt sanctions, restricted or denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed
necessary and appropriate by the presiding judge.
4. By appearing telephonically and/or electronically, the attendee acknowledges that he/she has
read, reviewed, understands, and agrees to this Court order.
