TEMPORARY SEALING ORDER
CAME ON TO BE HEARD this day of , 2020, Plaintiffs’ Unopposed
Motion to Seal Court Records and Motion for Temporary Sealing Order (the “Motion”). The
Court, upon consideration of the Motion, the evidence, the pleadings on le herein and other
pertinent matters, is of the opinion that the Motion is meritorious for the reasons set forth herein
and should, in all things, be GRANTED.
The Court nds that there is a compelling need to temporarily grant the relief requested,
as immediate and irreparable injury will result if these court records are not sealed before a
public hearing is held on the Motion. The Court also nds that no less restrictive means will
adequately and effectively protect the parties’ privacy rights.
Accordingly, the Court temporarily GRANTS the Motion. It is therefore ordered that the
following documents be temporarily sealed and shall not be made part of the public record until
nal determination of the Motion and further order of this Court: Motion for Summary Judgment
on Plaintiffs’ Counts I-IV (Ownership of Patent Rights) and Count V (No Revenue Sharing) and
Defendants’ Request for Declaratory Judgment Relief and exhibits thereto.
The Court further ORDERS the Clerk of the Court to take notice of this Order and to
institute procedures to ensure personnel of the Court comply with the terms of this Order.
The nal hearing on the Motion will be heard in open court on ,
2020, at _.m. in the l62nd Judicial District Court for Dallas County, Texas. Any
person may intervene and be heard concerning the sealing of these records. Plaintiffs are hereby
directed to immediately give the public notice of such hearing pursuant to Texas Rule of Civil
Procedure 76a(3).
The Court shall retain jurisdiction, as provided by law, to enforce, alter or vacate this
Order before or after judgment in this case.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
SIGNED this day of November, 2020.
