Probable   cause for this arrest is as follows:

On Sunday, June 13, 2021, at about 3:04AM, | was driving south on Tamiami Trail, approaching Midway Boulevard. This
area is in Port Charlotte, Charlotte County, Florida. | was on marked, uniformed patrol.
| saw a red, 2013 Chevrolet four-door (FL LYVR42). The tag light on the vehicle was out, and there was a chrome trim
strip covering a portion of the decal.
I stopped the car on Tamiami Trail, several hundred feet north of Midway Boulevard.
| met with the driver, Montel Jackson. | introduced myself to him and explained the reason for the traffic stop. | asked to
see his driver's license, motor vehicle registration and proof of motor vehicle liability insurance.
Montel told me that his license was suspended, and he handed me his Florida identification card.
| ran Montel through central communications. Central told me that his license had been revoked on 02/21/2021, for
financial responsibility. Central also told me that he was a Habitual Traffic Offender
| looked Montel up in the Driver And Vehicle Information Database. DAVID showed that he had received notice of the
suspension on 01/13/2021, per FSS 322.251.
| issued Montel the following criminal citation(s):
 - Driving while a Habitual Traffic Offender (HTO),
| told Montel had a court date on 07/26/2021, at 9:00AM . | arrested him and transported him to the Charlotte County Jail
without incident.
A1 Auto Body Towing towed the vehicle from the scene.
