TENTATIVE AFFIRMED The Court issues the following tentative ruling in advance of the Case Management Conference set for hearing on June 1, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. in Department 27. No appearance required. The Court received the Supplemental Declaration of Madely Nava ("Settlement Administrator") of ILYM Group Inc. Regarding Disbursement of Settlement Funds filed on May 16, 2023. The Settlement Administrator reports that there is $356,501.51 in uncashed checks. The Settlement Administrator has submitted the necessary paperwork to the State Controller's Office- Unclaimed Property Fund and anticipates that the settlement funds will be distributed to the State in May 2024. Accordingly, a further Compliance Hearing is set for June 27, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. At least 15 calendar days prior to the hearing, the Settlement Administrator is to file a declaration providing the Court with the status of the disbursement of the settlement funds. To request oral argument on this matter, you must call Department 27 at (916) 874-6697 by 4:00 p.m., the court day before this hearing and notification of oral argument must be made to the opposing party/counsel.
