                                   JOINT CASE MANAGEMENT STATEMENT
 1          PlaintifTs Andrea Spears and Tomas Arana ("Plaintiffs") and Defendant Health Net of
 2 Califomia, Inc. ("Defendant") (collectively "the Parties") now submit this case management
 3 statement to the Court in advance of the November 4, 2022 Case Management Conference.
 4
 5 1.       STATUS OF SETTLEMENT
 6          The Parties participated in a private mediation with mediator Tripper Ortman on Jime 8,2021.
 7 Through continued negotiations with the mediator, the Parties were able to reach a settlement,
 8 reflected in the execution of a long-form agreement which was provided with the Motion for
 9 Preliminary Approval of Class Action Settlement.
10          On March 10, 2022, Department 54 of the Sacramento Superior Court granted the unopposed
11 Motion for Preliminary Approval of Class Action Settlement. Notice was provided to the Class and,
12 on August 10, 2022, the Court granted Final Approval of the Class Action Settlement and issued a
13 final Judgment.

15 2.       FURTHER CASE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE
16          The Parties respectfully request that the CMC is vacated, or continued to such a date as to
17 permit the Parties to provide a final update to the Court as to the distribution of the settlement funds.
