All proceedings this day are placed on the record unless otherwise indicated 8:48 a.m.: OUT OF THE PRESENCE OF ALL JURORS AND ON THE RECORD, the Court and all counsel convene to discuss and review proposed Jury Instructions. Additionally, Defense Counsel Sharp, for Defendant Belnortel, informs the Court that Defense Exhibit #2992, in Evidence, is now withdrawn by Defendant Belnortel and is removed as a trial exhibit by the Clerk. FORD MOTOR COMPANY et al -l- Date: TUES., JULY 29, 2014 9:12 a.m.: The twelve trial jurors and the two alternate trial jurors are all present in the courtroom. 9:13 a.m.: The Court then proceeds to instruct all jurors in the cause and concludes at 10:00 a.m. 10:02 a.m.: Plaintiff Counsel Satterley then commences to present his Closing Statement to all jurors until 10:25 a.m. 10:25 a.m.: The Court orders the morning recess until 10:40 a.m. All jurors are admonished accordingly by the Court and exit the courtroom. 10:40 a.m.: After the morning recess, Trial by Jury resumes with all jurors present 10:41 a.m.: Plaintiff Counsel Satterley continues to present his closing statement to all jurors until 12:00 p.m. 12:00 p.m.: The Court then orders the noon recess until 1:00 p.m. All jurors are admonished accordingly by the Court and then exit the courtroom. 1:00 p.m.: After the noon recess, Trial by Jury resumes, all present in the courtroom. 1:02 p.m.: Defense Counsel Ranucci then presents his closing statement to all jurors and alternate jurors on behalf of Defendant Hertz Corporation, concluding at 2:12 p.m. 2:12 p.m.: The Court orders a brief stretch-break for all jurors; all jurors are admonished accordingly by the Court. 2:18 p.m.: After the brief break, Trial by Jury resumes, all jurors present: 2:18 p.m.: Defense Counsel Sharp then presents his closing statement to all jurors and alternate jurors on behalf of Defendant Belnortel, halting at 2:54 p.m. 2:54 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.: The Court orders the afternoon recess; all jurors admonished accordingly. 3:12 p.m.: After the afternoon recess, Trial by Jury resumes, all present. 3:13 p.m.: Defense Counsel Sharp then continues to present his closing statement to all jurors on behalf of Defendant Belnortel, concluding at 3:40 p.m 3:41 p.m.: Plaintiff Counsel Satterley then presents his rebuttal statement to all jurors, concluding at 4:20 p.m. 4:22 p.m.: The Clerk administers the oath to Bailiff Clark, who then escorts the twelve jurors to the jury deliberation room at 4:24 p.m. 4:23 p.m.: The Court advises and thanks the two Alternate Jurors, who are then admonished accordingly by the Court and will remain on telephone stand-by until notified by the Clerk that their services are no longer needed Case Number: CGC-13-276217 Case Title: HAROLD KOEPKE et al VS.
