The Court enquires about a prior settlement in Reyes v. The Whole Cart. Counsel informs the Court that it involves two different types of workers, e.g., workers in food trucks and workers in kitchen. Defendant thinks the class definition is overbroad and is part of the problem. Off the Grid Services, LLC. Counsel states the claims are essentially the same and involve food truck workers. Defendant intends to file a Motion to Stay. The Court contemplates staying this case until the other case has been resolved. The parties briefly talk about scheduling the motion. Defendant plans to file the motion next week.
