CAUSE NO. 20-11-14219
Montgomery County, Texas
CHAD FRANK; KERRI FRANK § IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF
VS. § MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TEXAS
AMBER TAWSE 28474 JUDICIAL DISTRICT
ORDER DENYING CONTINUANCE
On this day, the Court considered the parties’ 4** Agreed Motion for Continuance,
seeking another continuance in this older-than-two-years case in order to “finish discovery and
participate in a fruitful mediation.” There is no description of what discovery remains undone or
why it remains undone, nor is there any description about how mediation could not have been
done in the last 25 months. Further to the point, if the parties agree that some discovery needs to
be done, then they can agree to do it and on an expedited basis. Likewise, if the parties wish to
go to mediation, they should go. But none of this presents good cause for the Court to continue
this case for a fourth time. It is:
ORDERED that the parties’ Agreed Motion for Continuance is DENIED.
