Plaintiff/Counter-Defendant Madeline Johnston has been my hairdresser for several years. 3. I began receiving services from Ms. Johnston while she was employed with Defendant/Counter-Plaintiff Cortello Salon, Inc. 4. On October 27, 2022, Cortello Salon called me to inform me that Ms. Johnston no longer worked at the salon and asked if I wanted my upcoming salon service to be rescheduled to another stylist. I stated that I did not. 5. I sent Ms. Johnston a text message that afternoon asking her what happened at Cortello and why she no longer worked there. Ms. Johnston and I previously communicated by text message to exchange recipes, which is how I had her personal cell phone number.
