On May 09, 2021, at approximately 1830 hours, Officer Di Pierro and | were patched to the area of 856 SW Jennifer
Terrace in reference to a battery. On scene, | made contact with the victim, Samuel! Pierozzi, who stated his son got mad at
him and punched him in the chest before running from the home.
The victim stated his son, suspect Alexander Pirozzi, is a drug addict and wanted to use his car to go get drugs but the victim
refused to let him use his car. The victim stated he was in his sons room and they were arguing about using the vehicle. The
suspect got mad at him and threw a salad at him. The suspect then blocked the door to the room and refused to give the
victims keys back. The suspect then punched the victim in the chest and walked out of the house. The victim stated he told
the suspect he was calling the police, and the suspect made a "finger gun” calling the suspect derogatory thing and said he
was not going back he would do suicide by cop
The victim had a visible developing bruise on his right chest, of which photos were taken by UCI Golson.
‘The suspect was located around the corner from the house at Del Rio and Canary Street, where Officer Di Pierro took the
suspect into custody. The suspect was transported back to the scene, where | read him Miranda and he agreed to talk. The
suspect denied all of the allegations and said he has been through this before with the victim.
Based on the physical evidence and all parties testimonies, | found there was probable cause to believe the suspect
committed the act of battery on a person 65 years or older, which is a violation of Florida State Statue 784.08, battery of a
person 65 or older. Because the victim and suspect have a child and parent relationship, this qualifies as a domestic violence
case.
‘The Port Saint Lucie Police Department Domestic Violence packet was completed and the victim was provided with the
victims rights pamphlets.
