l am responding to the defendant Juan Gonzalezfs reSponsé to casa #SCBAiOD374. The defendant
acknowledges the total agreed am0unt was 518, 000. He stated l wanted to add items which is a félse
Statement. I never indicated to Juan to add any su'ch itéms, in fact I actually asked them to make the ropm

smaller thanthe blueprints indicated therefore niaking less work and eliminating cost of materials an
labor. Also ali the items that were purchased at Home Depot were purchased on my mother’s credit card
no sfich items that reflect on Juan’s receipts as‘provided in Exhibit B so the set fOurth cost of $18,000.
Attached to this declaration arg all the material purchased on my fiother's Home Depot account (Exhibit
B. My mbther a|IOWed the defendant to use the card for supplies {hat were required for the pi'aject in ,
questiongofm the day the defendant walked off the job he requested moré money ih the amount ofv$
1500.00 to péy for an electrician to finish the electric work on the referenced project. l advised him I had
some one that Would do the electéic for‘me at a loWer cost. When l question Juan 6n the estimated
completiOn time for the refewenced project he told me he needed additional funds for unexplairied cost.

going to be clone and he stated he was not going to finish the job. On this day his sen Joey was not working
with him,‘ he Khad' another man there. A few days went by a‘nd was at rfiy mother’s home she told me to

call Juan on speaker and give him the chance to come complete the job since he had told Her he wanted
to complet'e the project. I called Juah on speaker énd he stated he wanted to finish the job, needless to
