Plaintiff Ybarra-Telias’ motion to quash Do Lab’s deposition subpoena as to
third party Cipollini is GRANTED IN PART. Cipollini may be deposed for the
narrow purpose of determining if the contents of Decedent’s computer were altered
prior to the imaging on February 12, 2020. Cipollini need not respond to any of the
document demands in the subject deposition subpoena.

(“Decedent”), sued Defendants Do LaB, Inc. (Do LaB), Multidisciplinary Association for
Psychedelic Studies Inc., a.k.a MAPS, Inc., Zendo Project, RGX Medical, and Richard
Gottlieb.

As alleged in the operative Third Amended Complaint (“TAC”), in May 2017,

Monterey County, California. (TAC § 1.) Defendant Do LaB produces the Lightning in a
Bottle festival. (TAC 4 17.) During the festival, on May 27, 2017, Decedent’s physical
condition deteriorated rapidly. (TAC § 29.) Decedent presented at a first aid station
staffed by Defendants RGX Medical and Richard Gottlieb. (TAC | 29.) The personnel at
that station directed Decedent to a tent staffed by Defendants MAPS and Zendo. (/bid.)
